Christmas Wrasse(H.Claudia) missing?

I purchased a H. Claudia and quarantined it for 4 weeks. It was eating everything and looking great. I put it in my 125 gal. show tank and it disappeared as soon as I put it in. It's been 2 days now and I haven't seen it. I've heard that they will go under the substrate some times. Should worry that it hasn't eaten or should I just give it some time?

It could remain buried for 2-3 weeks. And you really shouldn't do anything about it; do NOT dig it up. This will only stress the fish more.

Give it time. Especially don't go searching for it. Chances are if it's dead or dying it will come out of the sand. More likely it's just scared and getting adjusted.
