Chromis and Sunburst anthias ordered

Hello, I just placed an order for 8 chromis, and 1 sunburst anthias(on divers den) yesterday, and it's shipping today. I have a question about feeding the sunburst. I was thinking about feeding live brine srhimp, but currently haven't decided on where I am going to buy it from. I was wondering if the Ocean nutrition's Instant brine shrimp listed on DrsFosterSmith.com would be a good substitute for live brine over frozen. I have debated on hatching my own live brine, but it seems to be more trouble then what its worth.

I got a beautiful Sunburst Anthias from DF&S 4 weeks ago and mine started eating frozen spirulina and brine shrimp the second day I got it in the QT. Just my 2 cents...

Good luck with your Sunburst, they are stunning fishes.

thanks, my order arrived today. All 9 fish look great, and are now in the display. I setup a small hatchery, and I plan on trying adding frozen brine to my daily food assortment.

Larry - I picked up a fathead sunburst from LA last week too. Mine started eating Rod's Reef the very first day (Thurs) and today has started swimming around when 1 of my 3 metal halides is on. Hope yours is doing as well as mine! (I missed seeing yours on Diver's Den!)

well I will have to try some rods. I have 2 flats in the freezer. right now he's eating frozen brine and mysis. I will post a few pics later tonight too. he is out in mid water when my solaris goes into cloud cover, and during dusk and dawn periods. during full on sun, he hangs out in my cliffs, and outcropings. btw I just wanted to say how impressed with liveaquaria I have been. he was in 8 bags, with a heat pack, and the chromis were tripple bagged, and with a heat pack.
