Chromis died again!

Ok, so let me start by saying I been able to keep a mandarin goby, a pair of tomato clowns, various gobies, damsels, and a blue tang for the past year. I have added blue chromis at 3 different times and each time they last maybe a month. Whats up with the Chromis, I thought they were super hardy?

My bet is that the Damsels are killing them. They're in the same family and the blue coloration is probably just close enough to start the riot.

definately stress IMO. But you never know, maybe they just didn't feel like putting up with the glass. j/k. But really, how many did you put in each time? Most people say they need 6 or more in a group to thrive, prefereably more though if you have the room... HTH

Yup. Established Chromis can kill off new stockings of chromis too.
