Chromis Sick ID

I've been quarantining a pair of green/blue chromises and I noticed one change on one after two weeks. He seems to have a sore on his side, and in moonlight he has white spots. Only in the moonlight. You can't see the white spots in the pictures I have. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about what I might be dealing with.

Tried my best to get a good pic.

Very likely that is Uronema, possibly combined with other infections, usually Peusomonas bacteria. VERY difficult to treat. Try running a search on "red band disease" or "redband disease".

+1. Chromis are very prone to Uronema from shipping stress. Generally once you start to see it, it is fatal, unfortunately. If you have more, I'd start a formalin treatment to prevent the other(s) from succumbing as well. Good luck.

when purchasing chromis, look out for dark or lifted scales. That usually leads to the red soars. I have had about 50/50 survival rate with small chromis in the past. I think collecting methods may have something to do with the infection.
