Chrysopterus spawned (video)

Well, the chrys clowns I bought as a group last summer decided to have at it. I posted some spawning videos at this page: spawnings. Don't think I'll have time to raise anything, but it is cool to have them spawn. Hard to see the male in the cleaning video since he stayed under the anemone tentacles most of the time just letting her do all the housework. Anyway, this is the second time in 2 weeks. The first time was at 8:00 pm and the eggs took 8 & 9 nights to hatch, for the record.

if you could dan, detail your system out for us.
photoperiods. temperatures. food types and feeding schedules. fish size. length of time as a pair. water change schedules. moonlighting.

thanks!

These were purchased as a pair with their native anemone from Vanuatu. Have had them for 4 months. First spawn in mid-October. There are some baby nigripes in with them that I raised last winter. Tanks are 150 gallons overflowing into a 90 gallon cube. protein skimmer. 80-84 degrees. 11:00 am turns on 2 - 160W 50/50 VHO and 2- 55W compacts (actinic & 10K). 12:00 pm turns on 2 - 175W 10K MH. 9:00 pm turn off MH. 11:00 pm turns off fluorescents. Food has been a mix of arctic pods, krill, spirulina formula, VHP formula, Formula 1, mysis, & plankton (once a day). They have lost a lot of color since I brought them home. Have been mixing up a lot of different foods to try to restore native colors, but to no avail yet, as can be seen in the videos. Started out as......

Yes, amazing.. all of your videos are very cool. I like the attack of the 'gripes .. vicious little buggers aren't they?

Glad you all enjoyed those. It's fun to watch them spawn. Means all is well in the microcosm.
