My RBTA of over 3 years split sometime over yesterday evening/night, and gave me a baby!! Came home for lunch like usuall to "double check everything" and noticed an individual anenome about 3 inches away.

As out of place as one is amongst all the heads of acros Im also growin, but for the length of time I've had it and now a baby, you can't help but pretty damn proud. Definately consider it an accomplishment.

Yeah, mine split into triplets a month or so ago. It's pretty cool, but now they're stinging the heck out of some of my SPS. I'm torn because I really like the RBTAs, but they're definitely not peaceful coexistors. If I could figure out a way to detach the foot of one or maybe even two of them I'd be tempted to sell or trade, but that seems problematic at best. Maybe I'm just going to end up with a primarily RBTA tank. Oh well, maybe that means I'll finally be able to get that flame angel after all.

Ya, Ive been really thinking hard about him and the maroon for at least the past 6 months. So much sentimental value, those two saw some pretty bleak and dark times and stuck threw it all with me. Not to mention the fact that it's at least attached to a 15lb base rock that I have about 1/3 of my reef sitting on top of or leaning against :/ And if the anenome went the maroon would have to follow too. Just couldnt bare to look at him after doing something like that...Drama! :p

Thanks Steve! Dont inhale! ;)

heheh, true. But I am gonna have to find the baby a home once it's recovered, just two too risky.
