Cinder Block Stand

I might get a 96x48x18in 1/4in thick glass aquarium with euro braces and no black trim. I would like to build a cinder block stand but I don't know how many I need and where to put them. How thick does the plywood sheet between the aquarium and cinder blocks need to be? I would like to acheive a 36in height stand which would take 3 16x8x8in cinder blocks on top of each other. Do I need to cement them together? Thank you for your help/time. Please correct me if any of this is incorrect.

One thing if you do decide to go cinders please please make sure the blocks are damn near perfect, I did this on a smaller scale and had an oh (;/$ moment more than a couple of times. Just not worth it with all the potential money that can go into a tank like that.

What kind of stand could I get for a low cost? I am not looking for something pretty; I just need a stand that can hold the aquarium.

This local (to me) reefer has this stand, I am assuming he made, from cinder blocks. Looks good too

Something made from wood, you should be able to find a ton diy plans. It's gonna cost you more in salt and water than its gonna cost to build your own stand.
