Ciprofloxacin & BTA

Going to treat my BTA, he's only small so going to treat in a 10 Litre tank but will only fill with 8 Litres of water. I have 250mg ciprofloxacin tablets, how much of the tablet should I use to get the correct ratio of antibiotic to water

most bta dont need treatment. just adjust the dosage according to the hospital tank size. is ur bta deflating a lot during the day?

I think you would use 1/4 of the 250 mg. tablet.

Yes deflating a lot during the day. Gaping mouth with insides showing. Hiding away from light and expelling.

First day in cipro.

Mouth was gaping but within a few hours nice and tight.

When I got home from work it was gapping again. Turned the light off it had been on about 8 hours. It's mouth went back to being tight. It's almost like it doesn't like light.

u just started the treatment, so give it time.

By any chance is it a green bta? Wondering bc ime, the roses and rainbows are always hardiest, but went through 4 green ones and none ever made it
