cirrhilabrus condei

Wrasse junkie
here is a new pic of a pair of cirrhilabrus condei females. Im not sure if 1 is turning male or not but is atleast a quarter larger than the other. What do you guys think? does is look like she went to a he yet? This is my 1st experience with condei faries and have heard accounts of aggression toward other faries. These guys are small, 1.5 inches. What do you think are the odds they will grow up to be very aggressive toward other faries.

I would be interested in learning more about them. I am looking on google about their care and I am not finding much besides vendor links. I was thinking of keeping a trio of them with a trio of exquisites, but need to learn more about both.

Reefjunkie, it looks like your condei is either still female or a sub-male. I've kept two male condeis. One I kept in a 55 gallon with several other wrasses and a pair of banggai cardinalfish, and the one I still have is in my 180 gallon reef with similar tankmates. I would consider them to be moderately aggressive. Mine was the dominant wrasse in my tank until I added a pylei who is more aggressive. Here are some pictures of mine taken over a year ago (the algae is gone now). First picture is how he normally looks, second is him flashing. Unfortunately he no longer flashes now that he has a flame and pylei wrasse with him.
