Hey folks, any ideas on what these are? I'm thinking katoi...

Maybe C. katoi. A little hard to tell. Was extremely rare, but a new source was found outside Japan. I think the same Philippine exporter has collected both.

Most def is not pintail Derek; although my pintail guy brough them in. I'm pretty certain now that they are Katoi, but welcome comments.

Yeah, this is C. katoi. Tail shape, the spot on the dorsal, and overall body coloring point to katoi.

There aren't found in Hawaii, though. They were believed to be a Japanese endemic until they were just found in northern Philippines this summer.

Probably shipped through HI; not to say they're from HI.
