Cirrhilabrus katoi...? (Katoi Fairy Wrasse)

I can't seem to find a lot of info on these guys in regards to compatibility with other wrasse species. Does anyone know?

I have mine with 5 different type of fairy wrasses. It's on the more docile side

Thank you! How's the coloration? Do they get muted without a female? Do you forsee any issues putting one with a Rose Band Fairy Wrasse and a Royal Flasher Wrasse? The one I'm looking at is in it's "initial phase", btw.
I'll be keeping it an acclimation box for the first few days in the DT (90 gallon) after quarantine, btw. :)

I think it should be fine. Mine is with blue star leopard pair. A red margin/ yellow flank/tameki/ and a Pyle/ and a harlequin if you consider that also lol

Mine's a raging lunatic, to the point I've trapped him out twice (released him after the first time thinking I might be okay - not so much).

When selling him it will come with the warning I'd only put him in a semi-aggressive FO system...

I know some else who had to remove one due to aggression as well.

Yes; roseafascia and katoi are going to tumble with each other...

Uhh... Crap. Trying to cancel my Diver's Den order as I type this. Hope it's not too late.

Too late to cancel (by like 10 minutes :( ). Guy on the phone was super helpful and was trying to help research the temperament, though. Looks like I'll be trying my luck; one poster says docile, one poster says psychotic - it might be like a Red Velvet where there's a 50/50 shot of the fish being a jerk or a sweetheart. :hmm3:

Just got a call from LA, the customer service rep still attempted to cancel and was able to get the cancellation in! WHEW!

Once my other DD fish relists I'm going to re-order with a different wrasse. Evolved, would you foresee a problem if I went with a Red Tail Flasher Wrasse instead of the Katoi?

I introduced a pair of katois in my 300 a week ago. I have several other wrasses but the female katoi has it out for my female rhomboid. So far the rhomboid is holding its own and is still out and active but if things don't settle down this weekend the katoi is getting trapped. The male is fine and hasn't had any issues at all with the other male wrasses.

I have my Katoi male in with 10 other wrasse, Got to say he is very peaceful to be honest. My Diamond tail flasher is the most aggressive fish out of the lot of them.
