Citron Goby refuses to eat.

I've had my citron goby for over a year now. He has always readily eaten brine shrimp. I siphon enough in for him to fill up everyday from frozen cubes. Never much more. He would try to eat other things if was feeling like throwing them in like squid or mysis if they were small pieces. But like I said, everyday, regular feeding. GENERALLY the same time everyday, on some off days or the weekends he might get a breakfast and dinner (at which he eats less). 2 days ago, he essentially stopped eating. Nothing different from my end that I know of. He's starting to look like a fish at the lfs! haha. But seriously, I don't see how he's going to starve himself to death.. I've never bothered to train him on pellets. He never really got the hang of it. Hoping for ANY and all suggestions.

figured as much.. Not angry but this is sort of how I feel. :headwalls: haha it's just crazy to me. He's a fish that needs to eat everyday.

okay. so I'm not sure what's going on now. All last week, he only ate 1 shrimp lol. But I see him today and he is gorged! He has to have eaten shrimp in the tank or something.. If that's the case.. how to keep the population stable.. Being as I never see them! (But I've caught glimpses) and I won't be dumping as many eggs in. The question would be when to supplement feed. Its only a 10g. Gotta figure this out over time i guess.

Curious, what shrimp eggs do you dump in? Brine shrimp eggs? If so didn't realize you could do that, thought you had to hatch them in a bubbling tank first.

well, it is and it isn't a dumping of. I feed frozen brine. In the cubes you get a little bit of everything. Adults, brooding adults, juveniles, and eggs. The eggs are clear as day to me. They just drift somewhere. I mean, I feed right next to my airstone for no reason and I'm positive it has no effect on hatch rates. Some make it I guess.
