I have a Closed loop on my tank now but I was looking to add more flow incorperating a SCWD. the tank is full and I dont want to drill again.

Is it possible to do what melv did on his 29gal but put the intake inside the overflow return?

Not really. It causes additional issues. The main one being pump starvation due to the weir running dry.

Also the SCWDs are really not the way to go, especially for a 210 gallon tank. They steal about 30% of the flow and are apt to fail. The OM squirt, super squirt, 4-way and 8 way are better flow decisions for that tank
