I have a 4" crocea. I got it two weeks ago, and it still looks perfect except for one thing - the middle of the clam is a little white - almost like a bleaching spot. The rest of the clams colors are full and stunning, and it's mantle fully extends with perfect reaction movement and a healthy foot. This spot has not grown since I noticed it a week ago. It is currently at the bottom of my sandbed under 2x250 10K MH's with 2x96 actinics. My water params are good and I dose/test calcium and phyto as well. It's my first clam and I've never seen this before...
