My new clam came attached to a rock, which got strained during bagging at the LFS and transport home. The clam is a Squamosa about 5 inches long and the rock weighs as much as the clam itself.
Anyway, this morning I had to move it as it had become unbalanced overnight and was touching the glass. In the process repositioning it broke away from the rock and the treads were left behind. It hasn't opened in the 20 minutes since it happened.
Has it been damaged badly or are the prospercts OK for a recovery ?.
