Clam closed up with hermit inside.

One of my stupid hermit crabs fell into my gigas. The clam closed up with the hermit inside. The crab tries to escape but the clam closes tighter. Any suggestions on how to get the crab out of the clam with out hurting both animals?

Just in the shell.

ok your pic just poped up turn the clam up side down, and prop it up so it stay's that way the crab will wont to go down and the clam should open up
