clam closed up

Okay so I got this clam a couple weeks ago. It has been doing good. So today I got home and he was all closed up and has been that way for the past 5 hours. Is this normal???

No, that's not normal. Please list your lighting, complete current chemistry (Alk, CA, SG, temp, PH, etc.), and all the fish in your tank.

It looks like a crocea and it doesn't look healthy to me at all in the first pic.

Looks like heat stress to me, just from PE when my AC went out my clams HATED it! Looked alot like that.

i'd say your probably to late. if he's deteriorated from the the first pic ( not looking very good at all ) to that last pic, i'd say he's probably a goner ( sorry ). can you post any parameters for the tank?
