clam concerns

I recently purchased my first two crocea from an online vendor. The smaller one (on the right) arrived looking very stressed and lost most of the color in the middle shortly after arrival. That was about two weeks ago and I think the color is returning. I was just wondering how he (they) look to those that know.

Also, they scooted so close together that their mantles overlap. Should I leave them be or separate them a little?

i think they both look fine. its not uncommon for croceas to have that "clear" look in the central mantle. and its fine if they are as close as they are
