I had a dino outbreak which killed my crocea
The clam by this time had already bored deep into the rock, and it is a big rock with many other corals on it. I removed the clam but it had detached from it's foot. It is impossible to get the "foot strands" out of the rock, it's too deep. Is this going to pollute my tank? It is extremely tough tissue. I've seen my sixline and various bristleworms try to go at it and give up! I can try to cut it as close to the rock as possible (even then I think I will have to use a dremel or something) but I don't want to throw away the whole rock which has various encrusting corals on it.
