Clam dropped foot

Hello dedicated reefers,
I am the guy who removed the copperbanded BF last night from my 150 to stop the ambush of my clam. Well, since I had to move the rock around, I bumped the clams a little bit. They still came out last night, but here is my ?? This morning my derasa had moved to a rock lower in the tank. WHat I am worried about is a part of his foot is left where he used to be. He is out and happy now, but will he die because his foot was ripped off, or did he do this on purpose? Please advise with suggestions.
Thank you.

its just the byssal threads left behind. its common for clams to do this when moved or disturbed, it should be fine
