Clam food, help please...

Hello, I just had a quick question. I'm going to be taking a trip to my local pet store. While I was already there, I was planning on picking up some plankton because I'm getting low. But, They only have marine plankton. Can I still feed marine plankton to fresh water clams?

Fresh water clams? If the lfs is getting a shipment the clams could wait a few extra days. They would filter out marine plankton and probably benefit from the nutrition.
