My crocea clam is getting stung by my bubble tip anemone. They are both firmly attached. Is there any way I can stop the anemone from stinging my clam. Can move either the anemone or the clam without hurting them?

is the clam being affected by it, i had a crocea and a RBTA that touched each other all the time with problems.

Julio, do mean " without" problems? you said " with".The bta is so big that it has been completely covering my clam, so the clam closes and cant get light. but the clam has stuck its foot solidly on my live rock, and the bta looks solidly stuck too. I moved a maxima once that had its foot attatched, and it soon died. Are you saying that bta do not sting Crocea clams? thanks

I have two BTA's that have slowly wandered on either side of one of my Crocea's. While I'm sure there has been some touching here and there, they all look fine so far. Now the Queen Angel I used to have was an entirely different story. She picked at my clams all the time.

Well, I moved a power head down and it is blowing the anenome off of the clam now and all looks good, the power head hits the bta without much current on the clam, so im happy again. thanks for the feedback.
