My brother has a ten gallon nano and just got the Sunpod 70 watt and wants to keep a clam. Can he? or will it die? thanks for the help.
oh and can he also keep sps.

He can do both. I'd start out with a derasa clam and for SPS i'd do some monti.

Just be sure to keep up on alk and calcium!!!

that deresa grows really fast, over 20 inches. i think 10 gallons is way too small for a clam.

i have a crocea under a 150w in a 10 gal.

remember light isn't the only factor. you need stable params
