Clam hosting clowns?

My Derasa clam is allowing one of my false percs to chill in it from time to time. I am worried the clam may think twice and close on the fish?

Think that is a concern or will the clowns be quicker than the clam?

Creative ideas to keep the clowns out?? I don;t have an anemone yet(I will be getting one after I move next month, been waiting till then as to not stress the anemone with a tank move)

I was thinking of a egg crate cage for the clam, but it may block to much light.

AFAIK, its not often that clowns host them so i have not read any real solutions.

You may have to pick one or the other, but someone may chime in. Dont let this thread fall off the first page, bookmark and bump it.

Let your buddy with a salt water tank keep the fish or the clam until you moved.

You can get a frogspawn. My clown host in one prior to the anemone. It'll survive a move for sure.

My derasa tolerates it well. I gave up trying to stop them. I moved the clam a couple times. Had a frogspawn and torch before the clam and they never went near them. This has been going on 5 months. The clam closes at night and the fish hang near by.
