Clam ID please!!!!

Picked up this 4" clam today and am pretty sure its a derasa clam but not sure... opinions? What do these normally cost? I paid $60 for it but i like the yellow color it has and even has some neon blue speckles around the rim. did i get a good deal?

Also I have a crocea 3" and now this one in my 72 bowfront w 4x54watt T5 w/ indiv reflectors and overdriven icecap ballasts (grow nice sps under these lights). the crocea is attached to a small thin rock just under the sandbed and the clam sits on the sand w/ full mantel open when the lights on. Is this where both my clams should be?? I think the lighting is enough since im keeping and growing all types of sps from mid tank to top of the tank (and all have amazing colors).

You did ok on the clam price. Your lighting is ok but the crocea should be up on the rocks at least half way. Also I noticed your Alk is only at 4 Is that dkh or meql? If dkh you need to raise it to about 8dkh for clams.

thanks skins thats what i wanted 2 know... my dkh is between 8-11 always
