Clam id

HI

Looking for some help iding a clam.Il try to explain well i dont have any pics. Mantle is purple brown it has several white spots lots and lots of blue specks. Inside the clam is florescent green. Its growth rings are pronounced but not huge ,also if it helps it looks great under pc lights and is growing steadely. I know this is hard but any help would be great

Pretty hard with out a pic. The shell is the easiest way to id . How about going to ffe or similar place and looking at there pics . Just an idea.

Tons of pics on the web or you can find a book at your LFS for an ID. A good way t ID, like mentioned above, is by the shape and scutes on the shell...
