Clam likes to be on its side?

I purchased a blue t. maxima last week and placed it in my DSB with a snail shell for the clam to grab onto. The clam did take hold of the shell, but rolled over onto its side so that the shell is out of the DSB and the clam is facing my front glass (see attached photo). The clam is about 20 inches deep under 175w MHs.

Does anyone know if this is OK? Or should I right the clam? I tried that once before, but the clam rolled over onto its side again. I just want to insure that it is getting enough light.

Thanks!

Hi Ed,

It kinda hard to tell but it looks to be a Maxima. I would recommend putting it up in your rock work to get more intense light. Other than that he looks fine. :)
