clam mantle touching sps?

just wondering if its ok if my clams mantle makes contact with sps corals? anything bad will happen?

yeah it will be fine. if it were a lps like a hammer then that would be a different story. My maxima is in between 4 sps that are growing around it and there are no signs that the clam is being hurt by them.

mine touched a green slimer and it is now pull into the shell at that point. Still waiting a month later for that spot to return to normal. So maybe it depends on the sps.

I agree with docsky, though, that it may depend on the sps.

Theres a here where people have anemones touching clams. They even have great pics from a scuba trip showing it in wild.
