clam on side

New clam.

I just got a tiny crocea clam. I put it in the sand after acclimating it today. It is extending great. But, it is sort of laying on its side at a 45 degree angle. is that ok for now?

yeah he should be fine. you might want to place a small rock or shell underneath him so he has something to attach to. if you bury the rock in the sand and place the clam on top, you can use some sand to prop him up until he's ready.
