Clam Parasite

I posted a thread earlier this week about a mantle question. I have found out that I had a parasite eating the clam. I have recently lost it. My question is is there any kind of clam parasite that will attack and eat other corals, namely lps? Thanks for your help.

Pyramid snails eat clams and snails. Dunno about stuff that eats coral though.

how did you find out you had a parasite?

I saw it in the mantle that was already eaten. I couldn't pick it out to examine it closely, sorry. It was sad. It was only the second thing I lost. How is it best to treat your tank after you find the parasite?

you cant treat something if you dont know what it was. what did it look like? discribe it in great detail

It looked like a whelk to me. I can't seem to find it anymore. When I pulled the clam out of the tank, he wasn't on it anymore.
