Upon checking my tank last night I discoverd that my 3 inch Crocea was tipped on end away from the rock he normally is perched on. I righted him and found that he had pulled away from the rock he was mounted on leaving a substaintal tuft of white threads attached to the rock. He has been very happy, responsive and is generally open all the time except when I am in the tank. He has been happy as a clam for 2 months and now he has done this. I righted him on his rock and left him alone. He closed up tight for the rest of the night.
No siginifcant changes I am aware of other than I'm trying to get my calcium up above 400. I have been slowly (past 7 days) adding b ionic (calcium only). Calcium was at 330 when I started moving it up slowly.
params
CA - 390
alk - 8.5
Mg - 1100
Ph - 8.2
SG 1.025
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
amonia 0
Po4 0.25
He normally sits up high in the rockwork about 12-14 inches below a 250w 14.5 K SE XM. Until he was detached I noticed no signs of stress. There is a 1 inch maxima sitting 6 inches from him, and the max is doing fine!
Any ideas
