I have a baby maxima clam for about three weeks now!! Best looking thing in my tank, well in my eyes that is. I feed the zoos and feather dusters 2 x perweek just by dosing the tank with phytoplankton. Is this enough for the baby clam as well? I fall along the line that if they get to eat it in the wild why not in captivity? I try to recreate a wild environment as best i can within limits. But any advise for me as this is my first and definatly not my last clam!! I want to add another one but am freaked out by readnig about how others have added in one that was sick and it killed the other clams too. suggestions? No quarantine tank not enough room where i am at for one. Also I have noticed little "worms" that are on both sides of its shell. It came with them attached are they okay or do I need to get these buggers off? Trynig to find a place to post the pic for oyu all to see. If you want me to email it to you i can do that. thanks again and njoy your clams!!!
