clam question

I have a Tridacna Maxima and i got it in a bare bottom bio cube with a 250 mh over it (about 15 inch. over the water) and it looks different then the ones i see in the store, it has all its color and everything but its always really open and looks fully extended when i see them at the store they look kinda closed but the flesh is hanging out and they are like that in some pics i see so im just checking how they are supost to look?

you can't go by what the clams look like at the LFS. they are still jumpy / nervous from shipping and being added to a new system. in our tanks they gradually learn it's a safe environment and start opening more.

please post a pic or two.
