I have a 29 gallon tank, I am running a Red Sea Pro skimmer, I have a 10 gallon sump. My tank inhabitants are a pair of maroon clown fish, a lime stripe goby, 2 peppermint shrimp, 2 turbo snails, 1 nasasirus (sp.?) snail, several zoas, a spaghetti leather, a bubble coral, 2 montipora caps, a torch coral, some sps corals not sure on the exact species, xenia coral. I have 2 24watt T5's with the slr reflectors, and 2 55 watt Power Compact actincs. The lights are about 10 inches off the watrer. The tank is BB but I am seriously considering adding sand or crushed coral. What type of clam can I keep in this tank?
Thanks,
Andy

i'd say for the type of lighting you have right now......Derasa and Squamosa clams are your only choice right now over time though they will require a bit more stronger lighting......Croceas and Maximas require much more intense lighting such as metal halide to sustain them and allow them to grow ( there are other factors though)

Does it mean you have single parabolic reflectors?, I am pretty sure any clam , including Maximas will be fine, as long as the bulbs are exactly above and you have single parabolic reflectors, because your tank is not even that deep, I bet you'll be fine.
