Which fish are generally considered "clam safe", questionable and definately not.

My 125gl fish list now is;

Flame Angel
5 Green Cromis
Rainford Goby
Dragonette

well just off the bat i would say the the flame Angle is not.the rest are fine.it might be easer to list any others that you might wont and then people can give there input

"Flash" has been a good so far, well fed.

Others I'm condidering-

Clown Gobie
Yellow Coris
Hippo
Bi-color blennie
Six/four Line
GSP w/ anenome
Anthias

the coris are good when they are young but when they are full grown watch out,the hippo most likly good the blennie 50/50,the others good to go

Thanks all...I'm holding on the Hippo just added Anthias. Flame Angel seems to be offended and is challenging them a bit.

Really would like some kind of tank for algea control.

Take care...

I have kept sailfin, hippo, tomini, yellow, clown, purple and achilles tangs and none have ever bothered a clam.

They will pick at it's shell to get algae, but never had one take an active interest in picking at the mantle.

Naturally, the "oddballs" are out there which act out of character, but I think the odds are with you having luck with a tang.
