I just removed my crocea from a rock today because he was not opening and flinching alot. I didn't find any parasites but i found something interesting. When looking at the soft tissue on the bottom of the clam I noticed an opening that leads to his intake valve from underneath. Is this normal? It looked like tissue that he could close.
