what protein skimmer should i get and i want it to be a cheap skimmer and filtration

Hello Michael.I have a 40g breeder setup clams. I have pretty good luck with the red sea prizm skimmer. It sells for $75 to $100. I have also had good luck with the seaclone as well and is fairly inexspensive.I try not to have too much surface movement so I can view the clams from above and see the awesome colorations. Good luck!

I'm running a wet/dry trickle filter but the skimmer with a couple of good pieces of live rock should be enough for a 20g. You might want to put a powerhead in as well for water movement.

Everyone has their own opinion. I have had good luck with a trickle filter. You can see my 120g with trickle filter in my gallery plus I have a 90g,40breeder and 30 cube all with trickle filters.I do sps, clams, lps, zoas and ricordias with great results in growth, health and color.
