i plan to get a 5' derasa this tomorrow. I dont have calcium or kalk reactor. i do not dose anything at all...Can i just do water change to give it enough calcium?

in the long run probably not, unless you are using a salt that has a very high Ca and doing very frequent / large water changes.

I agree with a4twenty. Clams are known to suck Calcium. I dose every day. I use Tropic Marin salt and it's known to be low in calcium. Have your water checked if you're not sure.

Do a crap load of water changes with coral pro you might but it will be alot more work for you. I dont have a kalk reactor or a clacium reactor I use Kent calcium reactor its and additive like kent calcium and it works good I had 3 foot ball size clams and all grow like crazy in that stuff and also your corals will do good 2.
