Clams and Shrimp??

I was always under the impression that a cleaner shrimp would pick at the mantle of a clam and possible harm it? Recently I have seen several tanks where they are housed together was I wrong and they are safe to house together?

Most won't, but I've seen it happen on a rare occassion.

ok great I may try a cleaner shrimp soon and see how it works out!
