clams in bare bottom tanks

where do you put them? I have four clams in my current tank in the sand bed. My new tank is going to be bare bottom. Will they sit on a bare bottom or do I have to now put them on the rocks?

3" and over should do fine... You can cut down the little clear plastic cups and put aragonite in it to keep smaller clams from being blown around..
I removed my cups and put some sand on tank bottom just where my small clams are-- because I was afraid that the plastic cups were leaching phospates... (or other stuff)

I have several in my BB and they just attached same as usual.

i have a deresa and crocea on the bottom of my BB tank and there doing great!!
