Clarki clowns rules

I read some where that a person was keeping more than a pair in a tank with no problems. These fish are my absolute favorites and I was wondering if anyone has had any success keeping more than two in a tank. I know this breaks the so-called rules but I believe I read on this site that it has been done.

I tried putting 3 so that they would pair off and one almost got killed. So i don't think i can recommend it. Then again, in a large tank, it might be possible.

I had six in a 240. Two parents and 4 babies. All was well until the youngsters grew up and challenged the parents. I ended up separating them.

Sometimes Clarkii's have been known to make threesomes. you might end up lucky and get a kinky fish. I had a trio for a while unitl I sold them.
