clarkii clown eggs

My fish have just laid eggs in my tank. Now that they will be laying eggs can i have someone tell me how to help get these eggs to hatch, collect, and raise to a small fish. Any comments would help.

Yes someone can tell you how to help get the eggs to adult fish. Her name is Joyce Wilkerson, and she wrote a nice readable book on the topic called Clownfishes. Enjoy! Come back when you have questions!

I have raised clarkii's using rotifers w/ instant algae nanno paste, and then Otohime. Your eggs will hatch on about night eight, but it depends on temperature. Wilkerson's book is excellent, Hoff's is also great. If you don't have a culture of rotifors going yet, you'd better get one going soon, or plan ahead for the next nest, which should come in about two weeks.

I have to chime in and say both "Welcome" to the FBF and YES, Wilkerson's book is an EXCELLENT / MUST HAVE if you're serious about raising them. Please don't take our suggesting the book as rude or unhelpful - picking up the book saves us all from having to retype it for you here
