I have a pair in a 24g nano thats hosting a anenome. any suggestions on getting them to breed. They were very small when I got them and I have had them for about a year. Of course the female is much larger than the male. Can anyone help me get them to breed! Thanks Chad

i woud suguest a book (conditioning, spawning and rearing of fish with emphasiss on marine clownfish) by frank h.hoff. it is a good book. other than that i'd say slowly raise the temp to 83-85 keep well fed. and the best sugguestion is educate & trial nad error.

I would make sure the lighting is cycled consistent on a timer as wee as temp increase. Hope this helps.

I've found a regular lighting and feeding schedule (lots of quality food) with as few disturbances as possible to be very helpful. You don't *need* a large tank, although it might be helpful with some of the larger species (I have 2 pairs of clark's breeding in 10g tanks but wouldn't necessarily recommend it).
