i just bought a black clarkii the other day, as soon as lights go off, he digs a little depression in the sand and sleeps on his side????? is this normal for these guys?

Clowns are known diggers. If you're asking if its an egg nest, the answer is no. Clowns usually lay eggs on the rocks somewhere in a place not easily accessable to other fish. Is this clown part of a pair?

my maroon does the same thing, but since shes noticed that she can see through the bottom of the tank she has moved all the sand around her pot so she can see and in one spot at the other end of the tank when ever she swims past them she stops and looks.

her ocellaris mate doesnt do it unless my hands under the tank.

he is covering my entire tank with sand! rocks are covered, glass is looking all nasty because of it! how can i stop him from doing this? i may have to get rid of him
