clarkii missing!

My sea anemone swallowed my clarkii!:headwalls:

I have one percula left and planning to buy another percula. Will I buy a smaller one or a bigger one? How about other types of clownfish?

one died was it big or small compared to the one that survived?
usually a pair has 1 male (small) and 1 female (big).

I would buy a smaller one, and not recommended to get a different type of clown. They will fight and create stress.

the one which was swallowed is the bigger, clarkii, and the one's left is a docile, small percula..

Maybe the anemone was trying to give the perc a break. I wouldn't advise putting those two fish together. For what it's worth I think Clarkiis are some of the more mean clowns, but I am not a clown expert, so I'm not real sure. I have defied odds so far with having two pairs of clowns.

thanks guys for responding...the percula that's left is really small, I'm not so sure if I can find another percula that's smaller than this guy..what are the possible things that will happen if I buy another percula that's bigger?

and will a percula be hosted by BTA? that was the reason why I bought the clarkii because my percula won't even go near the BTA :fun5:

I feed the anem a 1 inch table shrimp the night before that and he grabbed it right there and then, don't know if that was his first time to taste a table shrimp, re: their relationship with the clarkii, he's been hosting the clarkii for about 2 weeks now..
