clarkii pair?

I recently bought 2 juvinile clarkii's. They were about 1"-1.5" in size. They are in a 58gal with a starry night blenny and a mandarin. Since the day I bought them one has been attacking the other. I thought this would pass once one of them established dominance over the other. Its been a month now and the attacks continue. The dominate one is now about 2.5" and the subdom one is still about 1.5". Will they ever pair up or should I seperate them?

are they actually injuring each other? if there is no bodily harm then yes I would say that they are on their way. clarkiis can be rather aggressive in their pairing. if the dom fish did not want the other one there she would kill him in short order.

Theres a few nips in the tail but nothing major. Sometimes they are fine together and then an all out attack happens. So I guess I shouldnt worry, this is just part of the process?
