Clarksville Area Reefer Needs Help

Angela, a new MTRC member (and I think soon to be NTRC member), needs some help with a tank problem. She lives in the Clarksville area and best I can tell, her return pump kicked out on her (whether it is burnt up or just needs a cleaning is another question).

Her husband is a military man and usually does the technical stuff, but he is out right now. She can't get registered for RC to post for whatever reason, so I wanted to post on her behalf. If anyone is up in the Clarksville area and can check out the sump problem, please e-mail her at GALLEGITA7@aol.com.

I've given her instructions to try powering up the pump and shutting it off a couple of times to see if it would kind of kick start it. I told her if that didn't work to get some powerheads in the display and run heaters into it. That should keep the display happy enough until she can get the problem figured out.

I think that she has gotten everything back up an running now. She's having trouble getting registered on here. Hopefully she will soon and can introduce herself and get any help she might need.

Help?

My name is Angie, I have just recently joined the club and I had issues last week with my sump and skimmer due to a power outage and has happen to me again with the skimmer and I think I just need a new system down there. I have a 30 gallon for a 150 gallon (crazy I know), but I have no clue on how to install and I know nothing about the equipment even though it is my hobby. My husband and I are both military and looking for some help once in awhile while we are gone with maintance and cleanings while we are gone. Please let me know if anyone is interested. I would also pay someone to put in a new sump because I can't stand having to refill every few days it is rediculous!
