Hi all,
I just received and placed my clean up crew in my new tank. History is.. tank is very new roughly 6 or 7 weeks old, my 3 clowns have been in since week 4. I have 54 gallon corner tank. Crew consists of:
10 dwarf blue leg hermits
10 nassaious snails
2 scarlet reef hermits
5 dwarf red tip hermits
5 cerrith snails
1 peppermint shrimp
2 emerald crabs
1 fighting conch
1 short spine urchine
5 banded trochus snails
Prior to adding them to my system i was experiencing a good brown algae outbreak. This in mind order was placed for the crew. Fast forward a mere 36 hrs and all algae has been eradicated. Leading to my concern of starvation. Should i start shredding seaweed and feeding to tank to ensure all tiny mouths are fed? I did not expect such a sudden and complete eradicarion of the algae.
