Cleaned my Skimmer

Well I had a pump on my skimmer go out awhile back so I took it completly off line to give it a good cleaning while I was waiting on shipment of my new pump. Lets just say it was FUNKY.... Well shes all clean & up & running again.

Heres a clean pic from last night, & a coule pics of nasties it has gone through overnight.

It's a TDNW-300. I been very happy with it. It's def set it & forget it. I've only had 1 overflow issue with it & it was user error. I'd def recommend it.
 
Nice! I'm digging my DNW-200, too, although I'm going to have to switch to something a bit quieter for the living room. :)

Brandon, For the price of a Fitting and a SCH 80 Cap and a piece or airline tubing I'll bet you I can make my old Skimmer Quiet, And I mean completely Quiet.
The Vertex I bought had the same noise Issue only much louder than your Octo and the Airline ran through the wedge pipe (Or In your case the vent pipe) Absolutely made It silent!!! I'll bet money on It.
Either come and look at mine or I'll come to your house and show you how to DIY yours to be as quiet. Guarenteed or your money back, I don't know why but It works great.

I think it may just be the pump, but its worth a shot! :)
