I have a question. Some of my fish have ich sometimes. It come and goes, they don't die, they, like my hyppo is a magnet and gets over it, so i've stopped the quarantine and he's fine. So if my convict tang who don't have any spots but , brushes himself on the sand, clearly trying to get rid of a parasite ich or otherwise.

So adding a Cleaner Common Wrasse (Labroides dimidiatus) would it help with this. i mean would it help them, not necessarely get rid of ich in the tank. Its present and , well i'm stuck with it until i dismantel it. All my fishes are healthy as far as i can tell . They're very fat and active.

Where are you getting 32 different live algaes to feed them?
If you need to get rid of the ich, put all the fish in quarantine and treat them. The ich in the main tank will die after a few weeks with no host.

While cleaner wrasses do not eat ich, they can in some limited way be of help with ich. The reason they can be of some help is because they do "clean up" dead and damaged scales, uneven slime coat, and some extenal parasites. This service provides a cleaner, healthier surface on the fish that makes it g arder for the free swimming ich parasite to latch on.

However if you have too few fish, some can be irritated by persistent cleaning. But having a number of large fish can prevent too much attention being given to just one fish. Having a multitude of fish can also provide a food source as some cleaner wrasses dont take to a diet of prepared foods.

Ok thanks guys , thats cool info , was just wondering if the cleaner wrasse would of aleviate their discomfort. Thanks.

Actually, to guarantee that ich is gone, it will require 72 days of being fallow rather than a few weeks.
